• How can I pair the app with the dehumidifier? (Tuya and SmartLife app)

  Note: If you want to set up the Wi-Fi function, you must select an available 2.4 GHz network and connect the device. Your mobile phone must be connected to the same network in order to set up Tuya Smart or SmartLife in the phone. Once this is done, you can access the device from your phone on any network. You should also switch off any active VPN for the connection. Once the device is connected, the VPN provider can be reactivated.

  
  

  1. Search for ‘Tuya Smart’ or ‘SmartLife’ in the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android) to download the app.
  2. Register or log in to your app account.
  3. Tap on ‘+’ to add your device.
  4. Search for e.g. ‘Large household appliance’ and tap on the ‘Dehumidifier/humidifier’ icon
  5. Press on ‘Bluetooth’ and then select ‘WLAN mode’.
  6. Press and hold the power button on the control panel of the device for at least 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator flashes quickly.
  7. Continue to tap on ‘Fast flashing or pulsing’ (in the app).
  8. Enter your Wi-Fi password and tap ‘Next’.
  9. Then tap on ‘Finish’. You can now operate the device via the app interface. Tap on the buttons to set up your device.

  To reset the device's Wi-Fi connection, press and hold the ‘On/Off’ button for at least 5 seconds until the light flashes quickly.

  If the device cannot be found on the app after several attempts, disconnect the device from the power supply for at least 3 hours and delete the app from your mobile phone. After the time has elapsed, you can reconnect the device to the power supply and download the app again. Then start the Wi-Fi pairing process again.

• How do I activate a push notification in the Tuya app? (e.g. full tank, humidity in %, power, etc.)

  1. Open the Tuya app on your mobile phone
  2. Click on the ‘Scene’ menu field
  3. Press the plus sign
  4. Select ‘when the device status changes’
  5. Select devices
  6. Select function e.g. ‘Tank full’
  7. Select ‘Tank full’
  8. Click on the plus sign in the ‘Then’ field
  9. Select ‘Send notification’
  10. Select ‘Message’ and click on continue (generates a push message on the mobile phone)
  11. Click on the save button
  12. Enter the scene name and confirm

  Note: SMS and call reminders are chargeable in this app.

  Der Luftentfeuchter WDH-214US erwies sich nach einer Woche Betriebszeit - im Vergleich zu seinem Vorgänger WDH-725DG - als Funktionell und Wohnungstauglich, sehr angenehm die automatische Steuerung der Luftklappe, sparsam im Stromverbrauch(!), sehr leise im Betrieb, mit besserem Kältemittel als sein Vorgänger - und ein 4 Liter Kondensat-Tankvolumen.
  Als Verbesserung sehe ich eine Liter-Markierung zum Füllstand am Kondensat-Tank. Diese Füllstandsanzeige habe ich mir als Aufkleber am Schauglas befestigt. Die W-Lan Fernsteuerung wird über einen externen Anbieter als APP „Smart Life“ und „Tuya Smart“ mit „in App-Verkauf“ angeboten. Wegen der Einfachheit der Geräte-Einstellungen keine „must have“-APP.

  Top Entfeuchter! Sehr leise und effektiv. Man staunt wieviel Wasser in einem 18 qm Schlafzimmer so gesammelt wird.
